The last days in this year are here. Do you know the name of the last day in this year in Czech? And do you know the name of the first day in the next year?
The Last day is called „Silvestr“ and the first day is called „Nový rok“. And if you wish someone luck to the new year you wish „Šťastný nový rok!“ („nový“ is without a capital letter, so we wish happiness for the whole year and not just for the first day called „Nový rok“ 🙂 ).
